    Ethical Aspects of Animal Husbandry
    by Craig Terlson

A collection of short stories where the humour runs dark and the slipstream bubbles up.

...imagine if Raymond Carver called up George Saunders and Joe Lansdale, and they all went drinking with Neil Gaiman.

“… it's clear that Terlson is way ahead of the curve in terms of crafting an engaging premise that reaches for elevated territory and reinvents enduring archetypes of action and suspense.”  J. Schoenfelder

"Sometimes brutal, often demanding and always complex, this novel will repay the reader who likes their assumptions challenged and is happy to walk away from a book with minor questions unanswered but the big ones definitely dealt with! It’s likely to satisfy those who enjoy Hammet and/or Philip K Dick and who like their fiction very noir indeed."   Kay Sexton

"I love a novel that you can't put down, and this is one of them."  L. Cihlar

Reunion tour?

Okay - well, it's not really over Gracie. Not just yet. And I feel lame saying... hey, just kidding! The blog is still going. So what about a reunion tour (getting together with myself. Or maybe getting myself together.)

That's me above with Ronnie Wood.

But I am revamping my terlson.com site and I will be linking to this blog. So, like I am saying at the other place, just over yonder in cyberspace, stay tuned. More to come.

Oh yeah - and I have a new hunk of fiction up soon at Slow Trains Literary.

Say goodnight Gracie

Well, I think I am finally going to be pulling the plug on woofreakinhoo - or at least letting the water out. At a later date I might relaunch.

I am trying to focus on some other things right now and am not finding the time to blog (you probably noticed that.)

Thanks to all who visited - I'll have to check my stats to see who you all were...but I know you're out there somewhere.

Yes, I know

... I know that I have not blogged in over a week. I know that the less I blog the less people will visit the blog. This I know. But rather than ramble about nothing (like I am doing now), I thought I should wait until I have something to say.

And nothing has appeared as of yet.

Writers block? Maybe. Either that or Swine Flu - too soon to tell.

Hey! What about...

I know, I know, I missed the day of the week that probably has the most songs written about it: Friday!

But I have an excuse. I was in love. Witn my wife. So there.

Best song ever written about this day - The Cure.

Friday I'm In Love

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Oh, Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...

I don't care if Mondays black
Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday, you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed
Or Thursday - watch the walls instead
It's Friday, I'm in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...

Dressed up to the eyes
It's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throwing out your frown
And just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a sheik
Spinning round and round
Always take a big bite
It's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It's Friday, I'm in love

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love
