A collection of short stories where the humour runs dark and the slipstream bubbles up.

...imagine if Raymond Carver called up George Saunders and Joe Lansdale, and they all went drinking with Neil Gaiman.

“… it's clear that Terlson is way ahead of the curve in terms of crafting an engaging premise that reaches for elevated territory and reinvents enduring archetypes of action and suspense.”  J. Schoenfelder

"Sometimes brutal, often demanding and always complex, this novel will repay the reader who likes their assumptions challenged and is happy to walk away from a book with minor questions unanswered but the big ones definitely dealt with! It’s likely to satisfy those who enjoy Hammet and/or Philip K Dick and who like their fiction very noir indeed."   Kay Sexton

"I love a novel that you can't put down, and this is one of them."  L. Cihlar

His Royal Bobness

Whew. Almost a month since my last post - no excuses except for a touch of burn out. I am once again considering stopping woofreakinhoo, for a while anyway. No need to send in your notes of condolences, huzzahs, "please stays", or "its about time you tossed in the towels" (there's more than one towel?)

Nope, just feeling a bit of a loss of focus these days. Perhaps one too many irons in the fire.

But in the meanwhile...

I do finally get to see Bob Dylan! The legendary Bobster (duke of Bob? His royal Bobness?) comes to town tonight. I saw another legend only a couple of weeks ago: Neil Young. I'll report as to which of them lived up to their legend status. Of course, just to hear Bob mumble will be a treat, because, well... because he's Bob.

Later.

You must be able to see my glowing green envy all the way from Canada. Two of my favorite Legends! Wow. Have a blast, Craig.

We saw Lindsey Buckingham a few weeks ago. If you love guitar like I do, don't miss him if he comes your way. Absolutely incredible!

Hope all is well.

Hugs from America,
Fran

Hey Fran - always good to see you knocking around here. Of the two I'd have to say Neil was better - he came, he played, he rocked.

Happy pre-election day. Us Canucks are watching closely.
hope you're well

After the film, Prairie Wind, Neil will always be my favorite. Blew me away (pardon the unintended pun).

Send a little prayer south of the border. Of all days, we need all the help we can get down here.

Hugs,
Fran
